Asking the right questions and early is key to ensuring that the correct product is being built, it also eliminates wastage i.e. less bugs are raised later in the development cycle when they are most costly to fix.  These bugs can manifest in any stage of the software delivery lifecycle so it is vital to ask questions at each stage of this process.

Do not be afraid to ask questions, as someone once said to me…the only stupid question is the one you didn’t ask!
